🛠️ About the Marker:
Appearance:
Classic black X7 body with tactical upgrades. Barrel is custom painted to conceal previous damage from set screws, but those marks are still slightly visible.
The Commando air-thru stock has been painted black and has an oily look to it (see photos). This was not intentional. I may eventually repaint the stock and update the listing, but as of right now this is how it comes.
Functionality:
Tested with .68 caliber reballs at 275 FPS using HPA. Optimized for CO2.
Parts/Accessories:
Double trigger is old-school style—unlike modern speedball markers, it requires the trigger to click back into place before firing again. This is normal for older Tippmann markers.
Right side of trigger frame has a small crack. This does not affect performance but can make reassembly more difficult when inserting the body pins. The frame must be held firmly in place during reassembly.
🔍 Condition Description:
Refurbished – Used. Fully functional, tested, and rebuilt with fresh parts (including new ball latch). Cosmetic wear is present, the stock has been repainted, and the trigger frame has a small crack that requires care during reassembly.
📏 Length & Weight:
• 32" in length
• 5 lbs 9 oz
🔫 Air & Chronograph:
• Tested at 275 FPS with HPA
• Marker runs consistently and reliably
• Optimized for CO2 use
🎯 Paint Preference:
For best performance, use 3 star or 2 star paint or Valken Graffiti.
Avoid overly brittle paint, as this build is harder on fragile paintballs.
⚠️ Air Storage Warning:
These markers are not designed to stay aired up for long periods of time.
While it’s fine to play for several hours, leaving a tank connected at home for days (such as for less-lethal or home defense purposes) can damage internal o-rings and may eventually lead to leaks.
Several companies make on/off ASA adapters, which are strongly recommended for setups like this—I can provide links if requested.
